From Dream to Reality
Tetsuro Shigematsu est venu présenter son premier film Yellow Fellas. Le line-up tant convoité de Tetsuro Shigematsu
About 7 years ago, when Tetsuro Shigematsu walked by the now infamous Fantasia waiting line, he swore himself he would one day present his own film at Fantasia and attract such a crowd. Well, yesterday his dream came true since it was before a jam-packed room that he presented his first feature film, Yellow Fellas. It was a first time behind a camera, but some have seen him on television in 1996 on the show Rinko the Best Bad Thing, or perhaps on his one-man show, Rising Son, presented in Montreal, Boston, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Therefore, Tetsuro has proven his versatility, yet one thing was still haunting the young Canadian director for quite awhile: Fantasia! It was under a shower of applause that Tetsuro came to salute the audience after the screening. An evidently emotional Shigematsu answered many of the peoples questions afterwards.
