“Unapologetically silly and smutty… delivers buckets upon buckets of blood and gore” – Blair Hoyle, CINEMA SLASHER

This summer, Fantasia is blessed with the chance to share something truly special with you. A unique, heartwarming cinematic experience, crafted with care – by people who care. A celebration of wisdom and wonder, of laughter and love, of unforgettable moments with family and friends. A film to be cherished, and shared with those dearest to you.

The title of that film eludes us right now, and in any case, it sounds like it sucks. Hey, here’s something a hell of a lot better. It’s about these aliens, see, that invade the city and hijack the brains of helpless human victims. The parasites cause the humans to turn into these disgusting warrior robo-monsters called NecroBorgs. And then, check it out – they all fight each other! With like, piston-fists and nipple guns and flamethrowers and all kinds of stuff! Plus there’s genital mutilation, samurai cops, a dwarf stripper – and character development?!

Japan’s wonderful wizard of gore, Yoshihiro Nishimura, couldn’t leave well enough alone, and had to go and make another damn MEATBALL MACHINE movie! The feverishly inventive sorcerer of slapstick ultraviolence behind TOKYO GORE POLICE and VAMPIRE GIRL VS FRANKENSTEIN GIRL has rebooted Yudai Yamaguchi’s 2005 mecha-massacre (for which Nishimura created the over-the-top special effects), and it doesn’t hold back! The making of KODOKU MEATBALL MACHINE required four goddamn tons of fake blood, according to Nishimura! Look, we got your “unforgettable moments” right here. Bring your mom!
